About Us
My name is LeighAnne and I have 4 beautiful children...ranging in age between 10 years and 16 months. As an artist, I struggled to find words that described the intense and unspoken love I felt for my children. I cultivated a passion for expressing that radiant love through drawings. It quickly became clear that these drawings captured that unspoken bond and I began to recreate them using applique art. I felt rewarded by what a simple but vast love between a mother and child could produce. This maternal love was a universal canvas that every mother could relate to and it brought me so much inspiration to see other mothers identify with it. Thus, Bluegrass Moon was born and has been my passion ever since. Most of my products derive from my own designs and patterns and therefore, are completly one-of-a-kind. The love between my own children and I motivates me deeply to create these images so that they may serve as a meaningful reminder that our children carry the most purest and flawless love in existence.
